Finally done.
I can't believe I'm actually finished with another semester :)
I'm at home right now, sitting and watching Saturday Night Live with my brother. Whenever I come home for a break, I realize how lucky I am to have such an amazing family. My brother and I have finally gotten to a point where we can acutally hang out, which is what I would consider to be my biggest accomplishment since college - I even wrote an essay about it when I was applying for college. We're actually talking about how much we dislike the way the Sex Ed program works at our high school. Good times.
We decorated our Christmas tree today. And by Christmas tree I mean the live 2 foot Evergreen tree that is sitting on a table in our family room. My dad the scrooge decided that we should mix it up this year and NOT cut down a real Christmas tree. Instead, we've bought a little tree that we're going to go plant in the mountains after Christmas. Until then, we bought mini-ornaments and a beady garland thing that actually looks nice on our "Christmas" tree.
I don't think I'm quite ready to reflect on the whole semester yet. Let's just say that it has been a blessing but also a challenge. I feel like I've grown up a lot, and I also feel like I have a lot more growing to do. I'm not going to worry about the next semester just yet - for now, I'm just going to celebrate that this semester is complete.
I'm so lucky to have such amazing friends and SUCH an incredible boyfriend. Y'all make my life complete (you complete me!), and I don't know that I could function without you.
