I finally hit the point where enough was enough. I'm talking about quitting. Well, was talking about quitting. Turned in the old two weeks notice at the SLB (excuse error, the Askew Student Life Center ahem! SLB). You know it, no more Jack the SLB Guy. I'm committing to a life of more fun and weekends.
At first, the decision was hard to make.
However
As time goes by, the decision seems to be even better and better. Besides study time. I'll have my Friday and Saturday nights back. No mid week meetings. Just some class and some world class hanging out.
Things have been far too stressful lately. Too much work (60 hours this pay period) and too much school (2 midterms today, which I am supposed to be studying for right now as we speak). Unfortunately, my grades this semester require immediate repair. But after this Saturday morning at 3:30 AM my employment is terminated and I am no longer subject to work and late nights.
The first thing I'm going to do is have a party, followed by going to a movie, and getting some pizza.
Now that the stress is subsiding and the days I have left to work dwindle down to a mere 2, I feel myself getting ready for the big chill. The last great time to hang out and be at ease until the strange sensation known as graduation starts creeping up my spine. I only hope that I haven't worked myself into needing an extra semester of schooling to repair the damage done this first half of the semester.
Okay, that is all that I have to say for now.
