Heads up that if you make a voluntary contribution of $1k by Friday, the government will put in $1500 to your super, assuming you make less than $30k/year or whatever it is for the low income earners bracket.. it then scales down the payment up to $55-58k/year or something

one with another group i can't even remember who now
and i've got one from DJs (not sure who either)
and now i'm under unisuper
i tried filling the forms out before and there was technical stuff or some information about the company (ABN maybe) that i didn't know. it was a while ago but i remember i wasn't impressed with how difficult it was. i wanted to just ring up with the details of my old super fund i had from the thing they sent me out with my balance on it, but nooooooo i need to mail stuff in and shit like that. fuck that. you can set up a new bank account and transfer funds over the phone-why not for super?!?

look into it again. get the forms to transfer your super over FROM the one you want to transfer INTO. all they should need is your name, your old fund name, previous employer, your member # if you know it.
i just transferred mine over and they went through fine, it's pretty easy because the company you're transferring into want your money and do all the bullshit for you.
