I've been wanting to make a rec post for a few days now, but it just didn't feel right. Still doesn't, you know?
But then I thought how all the artists and authors in fandom shared their stories and art with us and I wanted to celebrate that, and maybe keep fandom the positive and safe place that it's always been. <3
So, some hp_nextgen_fest Recs, including:

My notes: This fic is so hot, so smoking hot, and so funny and so awesome, you can't miss it. James's #1 on his ~Freebie List~ is more than willing, but James is with Teddy, and, well, don't worry, they work out the most delicious way to make everybody have the best of times.

My notes: This fic is so much fun! It's a Bedazzled fusion, but if you don't know that movie, don't worry! Basically as the summary says, Scorpius has found this wish-fulfilment ritual, and he's going to try to use it to fulfil his wish to finally be with James. Only, the more he experiments these different 'realities' the more he realises it's not James he wants. The characterisations are so lovely, and the build up to Scorpius realising is feelings for Al is gorgeous. super fun!

My notes: This fic is wonderful, James presents as Omega, but you see, the Wizarding world is not kind to Omegas, they are treated basically as property, which is a dramatic shift, to state the obvious, in James's life. He faced prejudices and danger, but Teddy is simply amazing, and the sex is smoking hot.

My notes: Ahhh, so much guild. We see James and Albus struggling to keep their feelings in check, and that summary It's only wrong if they touch takes quite the literal meaning. Sexy.

My notes: This is such a beautifully written story. It shows how close the twins are, what a special connection they have, and how their feelings is the only thing that might tear them apart.
