Wasn't expecting the twist with the witch, thought we had an actual Vamp!Giles and that they were going to have to use the stone.
Loved everything about the Demon Roadhouse, especially when the Demons all decided to protect Little Vampire Rupert from the Big Mean Ole Slayer. Love Plucky!Giles. Wonderful way to have Giles discover he was actually still alive. Blood, Scotch, salesmen and Pontiacs - what more could I ask for?
Love the interplay between Buffy and Giles, and the final turn around between them. So very nicely written. I could just smush them, they make me so happy. So much fun to see and out-of-his-depth!Giles struggling to get by, on the run from his own Slayer and being tutored by Spike of all people, er, vampires!
Always happy to see Travers get punched, humiliated, embarrassed, have his minions turn on him, etc.
Love it, Love it, Love it. Just what I needed to wrap my arms around and snuggle with after a wild two storm days and prep days before that here in Maryland in the USA. (Mid Atlantic, just south of the eye of Sandy as it passed by).
Definitely going in the keeper file to read again!

Not enough bad stuff happened to Travers though I'm hopeful the nephew will continue to be a pain in the arse.
Blimey. We drove through some of Maryland to get to Gettysburg about three weeks ago. If I'd known we could have had lunch or something. #smallworld
