Well it's a beautiful day here in Hollywood and I just wanted to say hello. Perhaps Bones and I will drive up to Mulholland Drive or have lunch at Musso & Frank's. If he's sober enough anyway, that guy has been drinking since 7 this morning. I think he has a problem.
Anyway, my birthday is next week! I think my flatmates are having a party in my honor, isn't that nice?? Lots of people I don't know are coming, which I think is strange but I will most likely be drunk anyway so it doesn't really matter.

You know, while most of the time the Postal Service in the U.S. is a thing of marvel, sometimes they really drop the ball.
I lost mail once in March of 1977 when I had a brief stint in New Jersey. I sent a postcard to Zissou, who was taking cooking classes in New Orleans. He never got it and was soon deported back to France because of missing that very important information. Thanks, Postal Service!
