[Death is painful. That much is obvious and very true. But Flynn is discovering that returning from the dead is no cakewalk either. Waking up somewhere in the forest that he didn't recognize didn't make this any easier on himself either. But he decided that he should try returning home, regardless of how he physically felt. He can worry about what happened to him once he got back to the house, since he sure someone must be worried about him. It must have been a week since that battle.
He can also worry about what happened to Noel and how she killed him later. Now isn't the time.] Nngh... The forest...?
[Once the journal was done catching his voice, he grabbed it and began to move. So, Flynn found himself wandering in the forest aimlessly for no more than fifteen minutes before collapsing to his knees, out of energy and out of breath. A side-effect of returning from the dead, no doubt. It really isn't easy. He would need assistance to make it back, unless he has to wait until tomorrow before finally making it back home.
It's also odd how his low panting from lack of energy is reminding him of his injuries just before he was killed. Pulling out his journal, Flynn started the voice feed. A filter would probably be nice, too.]

I need assistance getting back to the house. [Yes, that all he manages to say before returning to trying to quietly catch his breath again. He is really exhausted. Forest trekking is clearly very exhausting, especially when returning from death. Nothing else to it.
And Flynn is actually closer to the village than he realizes, so if anyone is wandering in the forest, they can surely stumble upon him resting against a tree. He's going to be there for a little while.]
more difficult than he imagined,
return from the grave,
lost woods,
bad way to start the day
