nobody said it was going to be easy, atleast nobody said it to me.
so you're all enlightened now are you? all of you have decided organized religion is a joke? all church people are a bunch of racists and hypocrites? well you go ahead you wise men. go on worshipping the "real" god that youve found without any rules and how youre closer to god then ever and how you are truly spiritual now. yet you have no self discipline. you have no courage. you have no strength. you of little faith. so go ahead and use a few people's faults, as though you were perfect, to excuse yourself from what you know is right. what do you stand for? would you be willing to fight for that? what do you believe in? would you be willing to die for that? now im definitely not saying church is exactly how it should be. no doubt you can go in and find your racists and adulterers, and when you get right down to it you can find something wrong with every single person who walks in and out of those doors. none of us will ever even be in sight of perfection, much less perfect. but to give up trying? to flat out say you're satisfied with who you are? well you who say that you are are liars. you will find no lasting peace in worldly things. if anyone has faith in the fact that people can change its me. if people had given up on me years ago where would i be now? He is a forgiving God. but dont stop seeking him when tribulation comes! show me in the Bible where it says if you believe in Jesus life will be easy. right. nowhere. but he will give you a rich purpose! wondering what the purpose of life is? go read the good book. Christ will give you peace, he will give you love, he will give you hope. and if you can say you have found a higher peace or a higher love than that of which the bible teaches, then you never found Jesus's to start with. it may be tough but the joy of the Lord is like no other. so you have questions? so youve found quirks in Christianity? admitting doubt is the first step to being closer to God. stick with it. be strong. pray for one another. keep the faith when life has never been worse. help those who hate you. love all. want to be different? want to be a revolutionary? follow Jesus with everything you have. forget baptists or presybatyrians, catholics or methodists, lutherans or jehovah's witnesses, FOLLOW JESUS. do not compare your relationship with God to someone else's, or to how people say it should be, because there is only One who's opinion matters, and only you know if you really want it. to be satisfied with the world is to already be dead.
