I adored this fic! I couldn't wait to read the full of it after getting to read the draft. My heart just broke for Tony. And for Steve.

One of my favorite things about this fic is your use of supporting characters. Right away the phone conversation between Sue Storm and Tony grabbed me. I laughed at the bit about Tony and Reed’s weekend in Tokyo, and when Sue threatened to make Tony babysit.

Your descriptions of Reed’s use of his stretching ability were dynamic and felt very natural. I could picture that scene very vividly, and several details - Tony likening Reed’s support to a hug, Tony imagining that this is how Reed acts toward his children - made it very sweet.

It felt good to have direction. Steve was actually looking forward to the meeting and seeing everyone. Touching base was important. It helped him to know that everyone was taken care of.

That’s like, the epitome of Steve. Steve in a nutshell.

The ultimate example of both Tony’s genius and lack of self  worth. Extremis. That’s also some great nut-shelling. One thing I really admire about your writing is your blend of interesting details and general ideas. It makes for a satisfying pace ( ... )

I have no idea how i made my way here, you know the twisted paths the internet can lead you on.

Regardless of the how I am damned glad I found it. This is one of the most heartfelt layered and beautifully put together pieces of fic I have ever read. It is also so far out side mo y normal reading material i felt a little of balance at first but the writing just kept pulling me back in.

Beautifully done and regardless of how I got here I am glad I came.
Well done!
