how can you say that?

the movie had cool parts, but overall is not a good movie, not cinematic art, in any shape or form.

you can't call that dialogue anything less than trite. anakin's turn was so flip-flop i was actually confused.

it's really sad what you guys convince yourselves of. the new trilogy are not good movies. epsode three is the best in the new trilogy, by far, but that doesn't make it a good movie. doesn't make it artful. doesn'tmake it on level with lord of the rings, vanilla sky, wes anderson films, or empire strikes back.

the first half of this movie was excruciatingly bad. and after anakin's flip-flop, the movie was more interesting but it doesn't make it as a whole anything spectacular.
i like chocalate, but i don't like everything that is made of chocalate. just because it's star wars, their is no need to convince yourself that it is good, it can still taste bad.

give me examples of the really deep insightful dialogue that empowered you. justify anakin's flip-flop from a cinematic character devolpment stand point..
I know WHY anakin changed, they had anakin say it bluntly forty seven times. but it still didn't feel like, other than being bluntly told, that his actions followed suit.

thats how the film nerd feels.
then the star wars geek in me picks apart all the god damn holes in the story. from artoo's mysterious upgrade better than any of the five other movies, that took place before or after. to the battle droids, who are so wacky "hey is that a jedi ship? lets go poke it!" tatooine should have only been in that last scene of the new trilogy and not been in any other of the new trilogy movies. artoo and threepio shouldn't of been in the new trilogy. chewbacca shouldn't of been in the new trilogy. those secondary charcters were cool, becuase of the randomness of how that go into the story. now chewie and yoda are old friends. and you think somebody would recognize threepio or artoo. and qui-gon died, didn't fade away but learned how to be a ghost, now you will learn that. the awkward change in technology. "we go from high tech displays, to large red blinking lights"

matter of fact, the story was flawless before the new trilogy, and now it's full of so many god damn holes you could put a cool analogy involving holes here. it's not a good movie from subjective unbiased standpoint (that neither of us have).

the second half is definately better than the whole new trilogy, but that one half of three films doesn't redeem the film, or the new trilogy.
