[At some point in the day, long after Coulson had escaped for a weekend free of SHIELD (barring any major catastrophic event), a lower level agent delivered a sealed envelope to both agents. A post-it note told them to meet at a certain time in Phil's office. And not to open the envelopes until they reach his office. When they arrive, he's not there. However, there's a recording on his monitor waiting for them.]

[Phil's smiling face pops up on the screen.]
Clint. Natasha. I'm glad to see the two of you here. Now, I know that me having a weekend off might cause a little bit of chaos, so I decided to put something together for the two of you to keep you busy.
It's a scavenger hunt that will take you around New York City. Please don't destroy the city in the process.
Oh. And if either of you are thinking about going to the director about this, don't bother. He's already cleared you for it. You'll only be recalled if there is a major catastrophic event that will require you to team up with the rest of the Avengers.
I hope the two of you enjoy yourselves.
