Eeee, I feel so flaky!
Wow, once again stopping by to give a brief update in my thrilling life. I feel so bad I haven't had time for LJ, I'm just so busy with juggling work, volunteering, hanging out with the 8 million people (including my lovely sarkastic who I will miss terribly) who are leaving me for overseas study this semester, buying all the stuff for my apartment and figuring out how I'm going to pay with that, and hanging out with family and friends. Yeah, so nothing even exciting, but I still manage to have no free time.
Okay, I've had some free time. But Charlaine Harris has been eating all of it. I decided to re-read the Southern Vampires series, and those books are like crack. I can't stop reading them. Except for any parts that have to do with Bill or Quinn. Those I can skip and just pretend I never saw. Forgot that I am madly, madly in love with Eric. *le sigh* And I also forgot that Sookie? Is very stupid. But yes, re-reading those because I've decided to break down and watch TrueBlood. I can't help it. HBO and I have been apart for too long. I need it. And shiny vampires. (Note that the vampires are shiny, not GLITTERING.)
In other news, went out to Seattle with the fam, which was nice. I was ready to be home, as I am on most vacations by the end of it. We walked around the Seattle area- the aquarium, a boat tour, an art museum, and some other museums which I thought were lacking, but they were okay. Oooh! And we went and saw Mt. Rainier and Mount St. Helens and Mount Olymipa (??), and they were so beautiful. Absolutely breath-taking. Definitely worth all the driving and everything.
And school is starting soon, which, yay! But also, eeeee, this is supposed to be the worst year for nursing. That much I am not thrilled about. But I have my own apartment, which is awesome, and my boyfriend won't be 5 hours away. So those are good things, at least.
Hope everything is going well with all of you, and I feel so bad that I never have time to catch up with anyone. I suck out loud.
