I left my heart...on the bus to Salem...
Salem was so much fun! There's nothing better than random movies, bad sing-a-longs, witches, keys, candy apples, hot cider, getting lost, stickers, fortunes, and long, detailed conversations about sex!
On the ride down we watched "Dracula Dead and Loving It" and "Blue Streak." On the ride back, we watched part of "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" and most of "Mission: Impossible." Also, we had a kick-ass sing-a-long! Mr. Desmarais sang "I Can't Help Falling in Love With You."
We went to an awesome interactive play...Judge Hathorne made me "Deputy Aaron" and I got to hold the key to Bridget Bishop's handcuffs during the trial. Jon also asked one of the guys testifying if he'd take off his pants. We were very amused.
Stacey and I managed to sorta-kinda get lost somehow. We walked into a Wiccan shop, but when we walked out, no one was anywhere! We managed to find our way to the right street though (with the help of the lady in the yellow jacket and the red line!). We also got some sweet hot apple cider out of the deal!
After the play, Stacey and I got our fortunes told. Mine was amazing...she told me when I liked certain people, what their initials were, what I'd be doing next summer and in college, and lots of other stuff that was really accurate! SO worth the $25.
On the way back, we stopped for dinner and Sarah, Ian and I got some picture-stickers. They're cute. We also had a great conversation about sex on the ride home. I won't go into detail, but Ian, Sarah, and I have gained a new level of respect for each other. I wonder how Jon'll feel about that....
So...yeah...I had a lot of fun! Halloween 2004 Stacey, Sarah, Ian, Jon and I are SO going to Salem! It's like Mardi Gras down there on Halloween! And we're all taking a road trip to Boston on my eighteenth birthday! YEAH!
