Back in the Swing of Things...

So...yeah...back at school...once again. And for some reason, this year doesn't feel different. Sure, there's new people there and a few key people missing this year, but all in all, it still feels like last year.

Chorus was boring today. All we did was attendance stuff. But I welcome the arrival of some very attractive people...::grins::

English was somewhat amusing. The "Uncle Tom's Cabin" test wasn't as bad as I thought it would be...but we will see how that turns out tomorrow. I enjoy Mrs. Morris. My favorite part of class is when she went right up to Brian Plante and said "Honey, what do you think I get paid good money for?" That was before she took us on a mental trip through Wal*Mart and explained that it was an analogy to the school system. Interesting.

Chemistry is going to suck. I can tell that right now. I am not good at science, and since I hate it so much, I can't apply myself, and so I end up doing really badly. The only good thing about that class is that it's not just Mr. Fritjofson teaching it, it's Mr. LaPoint, too. But they don't seem to compliment each other's teaching styles, so I don't know how that's gonna work out.

Chorale wasn't the same without Angela and Amelia. The sopranoes sounded really sketchy on one of the songs we did today. I really don't think that some of them should be in this class.

CSL was long and boring. I have a big desk in the Sentinel room all to myself, though! The only bad thing is that I have to be stuck in a stuffy office with Mike McMahan for eighty minutes a day. I went in there for five minutes today, and the whole room was reeking of his stench. Oh, well. Whatever. I'll get through it.

I don't feel right lately. I don't feel like I'm a part of anything and I'm stuck in the middle of two groups of friends that all have their own lives and just seem to be moving on when I'm not. I know everything is all in my head...it always is. But I still feel like that. I don't know. It's just weird. Everything is just weird.

school, classes, friends, sentinel
