we will walk on this sandy beach of despair,
talking over nothing.
our feet graced with tomorrow,
and our hands clenched together with yesterday.
the waves will overcome us,
and i will just wonder why,
why did we ever start this walk?
our hearts lie in a pool of tears...
and the beaches waves dont wash away the pain,
but rather soak it into our skin.
this thought is killing me,
its killing me.
our lives are sharding.
slowly, so slowly,
we wither away.
show that life is worth living...
show me your heart,
and this ocean will become ours.
the sun is setting,
and our horizon is getting dim.
the sun is almost out of sight,
lets run away together from this sorrow.
take my hand,
we can do this together,
we can be forever.
the ocean bleeds everything we were supposed to be.
i see your hair flowing in the distance,
your figure a distant shadow.
your footprints in the sand leave a broken heart,
as the ocean washes them away.
these tides change so rapidly,
and now i wonder a different question...
why can we just end happily?
