The Alpha Male vs Sensitive BlokeThing....
Heh, now something that I've noticed over the past few months...
But the amount of editorials, or "relationship advice" panels in various newspapers and online blogs and such that have repeatedly started to hit on one particular thing..
That being.. that women are turning around and complaining about the lack of "manly men" nowadays.
Most of them are willing to put their hands up and do the whole "over the past 20-30 years we (the female) have hammered into men that we want the Hugh Grant sensitive bloke. We wanted someone to have girly chats with, who would cry with us, and who let us take charge" and now they've turned around and suddenly gone "Crap, we want men with confidence and backbone who can be alpha males". So now apparently it's turning around and women are demanding that the pseudo-castrated sensitive guys become the macho men of the past once more....
Frankly I think I can say that us guys have in general gotten very confused with things with the way of it all. And I think most girls I've known have wanted both the "Alpha male" who just happened to be "sensitive and in touch with their feelings" which I have to say, is a bloody hard line to walk.
But still, I'm curious what people do think on this area of things...
