It was good while it lasted

I was pain-free for about 24 hours. Then of course, I woke up this morning with a migraine. I'm working a 1/2 day today. Hopefully the kick-ass medicine -Relpax- will arrive in the mail today. I'm all out of it. The Imitrex just masks the pain for about 8 hours, while the Relpax knocks it out completely. Of course the Relpax is very expensive and not the "preferred" medicine for my insurance company.

Although I love this time of year, the transition from winter to spring is brutal for migraines.
