We watched the eclipse last night. That was beautiful. It was amazing to watch the colors, going from a light to dark rose to charcoal. I would have stayed out on the deck longer to watch if it hadn't been so damn cold.
We were actually able to roust Son to see it. He'd only fallen asleep about 20 minutes earlier. Any later and we couldn't have woken him until morning (he's that heavy a sleeper).
We're supposed to get some measurable snow tomorrow. I'm working today and taking care of Son tomorrow as part of his vacation week. It's not looking good for his white sash testing on Saturday, especially if we're supposed to get over 6"-8" of snow.
Husband will most likely be called out to plow tomorrow evening.
Son has self-defense class this afternoon; more practice to be ready for Saturday's test. Part of the test is a timed exercise where he'll have to go through all the moves he knows, with 3 people attacking him, in 6 minutes. By the end of the six minutes on Tuesday the poor kid had no wind left. I think he realized at that point just how sick he'd been the week before.
Since we're going to have snow, I'm walking over to the yarn store. Plus, I want to go by my quilt store too. Oh yeah, I also need to get some groceries.
