We are right in the middle of the remnants of Hurricane Noel. The storm has been raging all day, and the worst part is just settling in now. We've had a steady increase in the wind, it's about 20-30 mph now, with gusts up to 40-50 mph. It's supposed to increase to 60 mph, with gusts to 80 mph in the next few hours. We've already had about 2"-3" of rain and we're supposed to get another 2" - 3" before it's done tonight.
I just woke up from a very nice nap. What else is there to do on a day like this?
We haven't lost electricity (yet), but we're prepared.
The radio station I was listening to just went off the air as I'm writing this.
