Ready to Go
I'm here at my favorite table in the Social Law Library prepping my two cases for argument. I have the first and second arguments, which will start at 9:30. The two cases are co-defendant knuckleheads, who along with a third person, tried to rob a bingo game.
Tom also has a case scheduled for argument after my two. His case involves a domestic violence conviction and the victim is very hostile to Tom and pro-defendant now. She's very unpredictable and may show up. It could be a pull-up-a-chair-with-popcorn moment if she is here.
I left my house at 5:45 this morning. I was afraid what the road conditions might be light the closer I got to Boston, and I wanted to get ahead of the usual commuter traffic. Luckily the roads were mostly dry and the icy spots were visible and could be avoided. Everyone was taking it easy this morning. This is amazing if you know what Massachusetts drivers are like.

Thank you so much lawyergirl15 for the candy hearts! That was fantastic to see this morning as I'm finishing up prepping my cases. We've had a huge bowl of them at work and everyone has been dipping into them.
