bi-monthly trip to the neurologist

Feb 12, 2007 10:50

I have a check-up with my neurologist for my migraines. The last course of suggested treatments - taking extra magnesium supplements - was a complete bust, so now we'll have to try something new.

I have to say that since I've been having the acupuncture treatments my migraine episodes have been fewer, plus I've had more energy, and not been as "down" as I usually get in winter. Of course, the neurologist described the acupuncture as "fairies in the garden".

I don't care what he thinks, as long as I can get the pain medication and Relpax that I take when I have an episode. I'm at the point where I'll try almost anything as long as it works.
