A Small Party
We had a small party for the Super Bowl last night. Just family and a few close friends. My niece, Son, and his friend Jon were upstairs playing football in the hallway. All we could hear was thumping and bumping as they crashed around and yelled and had a good time.
Husband cooked what seemed like a side of cow. I made two batches of homemade macaroni and cheese. We managed to polish off the roast beef, but there's mac & cheese left, so that's what's for dinner, with cheeseburgers.
The football game was blah. I liked the commercials. My friend Gretchen and I chattered together like little kids, so much so that Husband kept telling us to be quiet or move, so they could hear the game. We told him to move.
S-I-L and I made plans to go to our favorite quilt store together on Saturday.
