Meat coma
College friends came to visit yesterday, so we all went off to the Brazilian Grill for dinner in Hyannis. Besides regular dinners, the restauarant serves a "churrascuro" (I think that's what it's called) which is all you can eat buffet and open pit-roasted meats sliced right off the skewers for you.
I basically fast for the day, eating a very, very light lunch.
Son had the buffet for the first time, and man he did some damage. Then he came home and had ice cream for dessert. I wish I had that kind of metabolism again.
Needless to say I slept like a rock last night, and had really weird dreams.

The air-conditioning isn't working in the office this morning. Blah!

Today looks to be the best weather-wise to go to the Barnstable County Fair this week. It's going to be cooler and less humid than any days later in the week. I may actually be hungry again by tonight.
