plot bunny bugging me

The plot bunny for my ncis_flashfic has been really bugging me lately. It started out just appearing out of the corner of my eyes when I wasn't looking, but now it's taken to following me around. I'm paranoid that it's going to distract me enough that my muse will be able to sneak up behind me and hit me on the head with the writing shovel.

The weather is really shitty here today, but at least it's just rain right now, and not the 12"-18" of snow that the Worcester area inland is getting. Because it's a big storm, I of course have a touch of a headache - it's apparently low tide in my brain.
