I am cross posting this here

Edit: Holy crow!

Less than three hours after I posted this request that readers make Bing their default home page and earn $3 dollars for my classroom, the project was funded! Y’all are the best!

If you’re still interested in helping out, I have another project waiting in the wings although it’s FAR from close to being realized: I’m trying to get a bunch of magazine subscriptions for my classes. If you’d like to donate your $3 dollars to my class, please do so there.

Thanks again to everyone who helped out. My students are going to be very excited to get these books next year!

I know there are some folks who read this journal and don't look at my comic.

Hello friends.

It's that time again. It's the time where I ask you, the faithful readers of this journal comic, to take a few minutes out of your day to do something that could potentially help hundreds of my students.

Bing.com is giving out $3 dollar promotional codes if you are willing to set Bing.com as your default home page. It's very easy to do and once it's done, Bing will send you a gift card code. Just two simple steps and you can help a classroom out quite a bit!

Two Simple Steps

Step One: Click over to Bing and follow the directions. It's very easy.

Step Two: When you've done that, click over to this project I have going that's less than $100 dollars away from being funded. It's for a whole bunch of new books for my classroom library. There's a nice mix of stuff in there: graphic novels, horror stories, multi-ethnic literature, video game books, high interest biographies. I think it's one of the more varied projects I've put together and I know my students would get quite a lot of use out of these materials.

...and that's it! Before you ask, you can change your homepage BACK to whatever it was before you did that as soon as you get the promotional code.

The project I'm looking to get funded expires in 29 days. That means if I don't get it filled, all the money that people have already donated goes back into the pot and the project gets tossed.

Please take a minute to help my students out!
