smallish plot follow-up
Hello again, CNC! Last week I posted about a relatively small plot involving Stein and I am here now to a. remind everyone that it happened and b. talk about things your character may have seen if they watch local news stations.
So basically, last Wednesday (the 18th) Stein accidentally killed an (NPC) NOHoPE patient in the midst of an incredibly unethical experiment. Katurian Katurian was hot on his trail (investigatively) and reported this to the police anonymously. Thus Stein was arrested and charged with a lot of things ranging from murder to abuse.
Long story short: Stein went to trial, his attorney successfully argued that he was not of sound mind at the time of all of his criminal activity, bla bla bla now he's in NOHoPE as a patient himself!
Local news stations in the City have no doubt been having a little bit of a field day with the fact that yet another high profile NOHoPE employee is now a patient there, and there has probably been a lot of coverage of the scandal involved--(NPC) patients coming forward to admit that Stein experimented on them while they were in the hospital, other (NPC) employees refusing to talk to the cameras for fear of being accused of allowing things to happen, etc etc.
It is also important to note, I think, that the worst of Stein's activities he did outside of the hospital, thus leaving most of the suspicion and blame on himself rather than the institution as a whole.
