So remember that date auction slash ball we've been talking about both OOCly and ICly? Well, it's happening!

On September 22-23, the silent date auction will be held over the comms, and Cityzens compete against each other to win a date by donating as much money as they ICly can by bidding on one of the lovely candidates!

Just minor curiosities about details, but what is the cause the date auction is raising money for? And if someone nominates your character, but your character happens to be an antisocial asshole, murder jerk or something similar, is there some neat IC way to strongarm them into participating? Or is this generally considered 'c'mon, people who would do this for fun are doing it, stay away clowns and slicey homunculi, etc.'?

The cause is for charity, mainly for some City-wide riots that took place at the end of the summer. There was property damage and whatnot. The clinic will also get money.

And along with the OOC sign-ups, there will be an IC sign-up and announcement in the near future as well, where characters ICly give the information to Sally. That's where characters can react and be strongarmed into it if someone other than themselves nominates them, whether by the person nominating them or by Sally herself. The reason for OOC sign-ups is mainly for organizational purposes.
