Other comments? Due to most of his trollbros either coming from a point where they know he kills a bunch of their friends or being told about it, he’s very detached from most of the cast save occasionally bugging them for attention/to irritate them/because he hates Sollux/etc. Also due to them hating his high and mighty magenta guts. CERTAIN BAD INFLUENCES are also not helping him get back in the group’s good graces by purposely sabotaging his efforts and conditioning him to blame them for, uh… pretty much everything in canon. So, due to his canon point and City experiences, he’s tipped in the direction of supervvillain. A whiny, magic-hating, emotionally exhausting supervvillain who is still desperate as all hell ( ... )

IT WAS IN FACT THE QUOTATION MARKS. I c/p'd from Word and it apparently doesn't translate well. :'|

(It's totally the quotation marks. The same thing happened to me, too. DAMN YOU, MICROSOFT WORD.)

Anyway, I really love Eridan! I'm one of those losers that are mighty bad at reading Homestuck font (sob), so I greatly appreciate all the instances you use voice because it makes the speech patterns much easier for me to understand when it is in text. AND I LOVE THE SPEECH PATTERNS. Like, really, really love them. Like 'tingly Clockwork Orange flashbacks of bizarrely placed Ws and fish puns' love. Although I don't know the canon, I get such pleasure out of reading his tags.

GOD, THIS IS THE MOST RAMBLING AND INCOHERENT COMMENT EVER. But basically, I love him and his weird speech patterns and relationship failures, and I'll stalk forever until I find a good time to thread with him. Yesm. c:

Okay, I have nothing but immense respect for how you play Eridan. I LOVE his voice and I love his posts and I really am looking for any excuse to throw Constantine at him the next time he posts. I like how you've branched him out to have a great bit of cross-fandom CR, and I'd really like to see where all of that goes.

So I don't actually know the canon at all? But I really enjoy throwing Selina at him and the conversations that they've had. It does make me want to read Homestuck :)

THEIR CONVERSATIONS ARE WONDERFUL and I am glad to hear this. :')

i would totally recommend it if it wasn't ass long and complicated! also yes forever for more conversations between Eridan and Selina, they have the best ones.
