Time for more Avengers plotting because it's been nearly a week and we needed to get these thoughts organized.

Looks like, organizationally, we're hitting up against one big question that folks have had various ideas about. Formally split the team, or leave it together?

We have options, I have thoughts. (A LOT OF THOUGHTS APPARENTLY /o\) )

I'm fine with whatever people who have strong feelings about this decide, but I want to point out that what's being suggested, between the monthly posts and the fluidity idea, is basically that we'd have an Avengers post to figure out who's doing what for most big events anyway.

Well yeah, for things that need to be plotted, we'll want to do plotting. It's like Skalja said in this thread, we're not trying to eliminate plotting posts so much with these organizational deals, we're just trying to streamline them.

Basically, squads give us a base to plot from, and fluidity helps us build on top of that if we need to. If the squads work well, basically 90% of the time we might not really need to mess with how they're set up unless we're actually playing with the roster. It's mostly there for the eventuality? idk

Lol, event book planning. Hopefully we'd handle it more smoothly than the pros.

But seriously, all of this sounds good. There's still the matter of who would make the monthly post. I kinda think it might be cool if we take it in rounds? Depending on who has time/more involvement with whatever plots are happening that month.

Sounds good to me, we could get a rotation going if we wanted, or just play it by ear?

Maybe just play it by ear. Unless there are any objections, I'd take next month just to be the guinea pig. (I feel like we've spammed up the comm for February quite a lot already, so... prolly skip that.) Then in April whoever has the biggest plot? Or feels they have something specific to offer could take the lead.

I guess that's how I'm sort of imagining this. A "hey, here's your chance to switch team arrangements/GUYS I NEED SOMEONE TO DO ___ IN THIS PLOT, ANY AVENGER TAKERS?/seriously wtf are you planning on doing for this" post. If any of that makes sense, Idk my brain is fried.

Oh also I volunteer Bobbi's journal to host an IC-roster(s) once things are settled.

Also for the younger members/junior Avengers I assume that they'll be assigned to tag along with the grown ups?

Another interesting thing could be, like, training rotations. Basically everyone who wants to gets to have a sidekick for a while and gets to have a hand in seeing what the kids are up to/ assess their skills.

I know for some jobs you go on training rotations with more experienced people and you have to complete so many with good reviews.

I like this. There could even be like... An evaluation type thing in the monthly post. Nothing formal just a "KATE BISHOP BOMBED HER EVALUATION WITH CAP BECAUSE SHE HAS MONO. REACTIONS?" type thing.

But no seriously, they could be more legit than that, it's just prior to 6am and my mind is not working right right now.

This would be good because otherwise Spidey has, like, four young superheroes to mentor, and he might start needing help soon. XD

Is he going to sign the kids up for Avengers baby sitting junior membership?
