Angelo wasn't a club kind of guy. Bars were more his scene, really; and even then he tended to get kicked out more often than not thanks to either discrimination or people simply realising that he had a fake ID.

This place felt posh enough that he still wasn't entirely sure he'd get the boot for being a smudge against the decor, but considering the guy who owned it and the people who worked there, he figured he'd be safe enough for the most part. What was a bit of grey skin when the boss had wings?

He spotted Suzi over at the bar and waited until she'd finished with her latest customer before he claimed a stool for his seat.

"Hola," he greeted with a grin. "How goes the daily grind?"

Suzi looked up at the call and smiled. Grabbing a napkin and a coaster she walked over to his side of the bar and set them down.

"Hey, you made it out," she answered. "It's good to see you. As you can guess, the daily grind is busy as usual. But that's normal considering that Dazzler's on tonight. People love her shows."

Grabbing a glass that a customer had left behind she asked, "What do you want to drink?"

"To be honest, I've never listened to her music before. Willingly, at least." Angelo paused; that didn't quite come out right and now he was getting a glare from some fangirls a few seats over. "Uh, not that she's bad," he was quick to assure Suzi, "She's good, really, I've heard the girls play her stuff. Just not my thing. I'll stop talking, now."

Leaning an elbow on the counter and propping his chin up on his hand, Angelo looked over the selection and shrugged. "Rum and coke's good for me," he said.

Suzi was quick to reply, "You haven't had the chance to listen to her. She throws a really great concert." Hoping that mollified the fans she sent a sympathetic look Angelo's way. "It'll be a really good concert," she assured.

At his request, she laughed a little. "Nice try. I can't really give you that. We've been keeping it extra tight since the whole thing with HIVE came down. Coke okay?"
