Hiruma knew that surprising someone with super powers was dangerous. Possibly deadly. But he was a curious creature by nature, and he really liked having an... inside look at peoples' powers. It gave him power over them. And he liked that quite a bit. So when a seemingly young (but well spoken) girl had asked about powers, well, he didn't really have a choice did he?
For now he would go with the usual; shock and awe. The stadium lights around the field were dim, shedding just enough light to create creepy shadows. Each light had been outfitted with a tiny camera, just in case her power manifested in a way that Hiruma couldn't see. And the shapeshifting quarterback himself?
Well he was hidden behind one of the lights, clinging with claws and tail to the back of the light, ears tuned like radar dishes and listening for the arrival of his guest. All the way up there, hidden on the other side of the large light, he'd be impossible to see.
