It was a good night for a walk. Not much was going on in The City and the weather wasn't too bad. After her nightly routine of reading and doing some much needed singing and talking to Tony, Layla figured there was probably someone else out there who needed company. So she tossed on her coat and shoes and made her way down the busy streets until she headed into the south side. The regular team that patrolled that area would probably not enjoy her presence and thankfully she didn't have to head in too far. A small diner caught her eye down the road; it seemed quiet and empty, and from the outside looked at least cozy. So she walked toward it, grabbing a newspaper off a stand on the way; the man running it was busy looking for a radio station and wouldn't look up anyways.

Walking inside, Layla plopped down at an empty booth, second to the right from the door. A manic grin crossed her face as she tossed the paper over the back of her seat and waited for the scoff at the intrusion. "You wanted something to read?"
