[A second after he hears her say the name of the intersection, Pietro is there. Actually, it's probably less than a second. He doubts he's ever been faster when racing anywhere and he'd take the time to be smug about it were it not for the shock of actually seeing Wanda there, in there in the flesh, looking noticeably befuddled over his arrival.
Suddenly he's nervous again, but doesn't have a communications network and distance to act as a buffer. Should he smile and tell her how glad he is just to see her alive? No, this Wanda doesn't know him, maybe never did. And then his breath hitches and he can't think again. This is frustrating, weak and ridiculous, and if it were anyone else, he'd have run off again already. But it's Wanda, and he can't leave. He can't screw it up this time.
After what seems like an eternity, but has probably only been a few seconds, he works up the nerve to speak again.]
