Bakura! I'm glad you could make it over.

[[yes but mostly fluffy healerkid! though a cat is fine too.]]

Well, hello, Pelor. [[He smiles broadly, reaching out to let her sniff his fingers.]] Lovely to meet you. You have a very brave master, I hope you're aware.

[[He strokes Pelor's head, gently, relishing the feel of soft fur and the warmth of life for a moment before looking back up at Bakura.]]

Why would you believe that?

I think, [[he says softly, still stroking Pelor,]] that your point of view may be a little... off.

You don't see yourself from an outsider's point of view. [[His tone is gently chiding, but affectionate.]] What I know about you is this: you have a power unique among the imPorts, and instead of being afraid of it or seeking to make it serve your own ambitions, you use it to help those who need it. That, in itself, takes a great deal of courage.

There are very few powers that cannot be twisted to fit some sort of agenda. But you use them to selfless ends, and that takes real bravery. I'm afraid you're not going to change my mind about this.

Someday, [[he says quietly,]] you will be able to stand back and see at least some of the good you've done for people in this world.
