[Alison's at the mansion, just visiting as she does sometimes. She doesn't have much to do today, just a gig she has to get ready for later. She's walking through the main room when she notices Jean-Paul. Ali walks on over, giving a bright smile.]

[Jean-Paul leans in to kiss Ali's cheeks, forgetting for a moment that this isn't quite his bff from back home. Still, she's showbiz. She should be used to it.]

[She is showbiz, so she isn't put off by the act at all. She just smiles at him some more when they're done greeting, giving a nod.]

Well, you know me. [he brushes a stand of hair out of his eyes] Beat up a homicidal plant monster one day, adjudicate between Madrox and Monet St. Croix the next. I've been keeping myself occupied.

Although I suppose I could interest you in some gossip...if you could repay in kind.

[Of course Jean-Paul is all about the blackmail material]

Oh, you know, the old story. [he leans casually against the nearest wall, one hand on his hip] She slept with one of his...dupes? Is that the word? But she thought it was the real thing. This was, ah, back home, not here. Anyway, we were out a while back, with Lorna, and we ran into the ghost of boyfriends past, because Alex Summers was there too, and after that whole thing he had with Lorna, ugh. [he rolls his eyes] But anyway, Monet walked up to a dupe that was smirking at her and kneed him right where it hurts. Hilarious, but then it got even better because Madrox reabsorbed the guy and so he started rolling around in pain too.

[he shakes his head, laughing]

Eh, it's all so terribly dramatic for no reason. If they would all either fight or fuck and stop this awful passive-aggressive behaviour.
