He could hear the ravens circling the mausoleum, filling the crisp air with their squawking.

He shivered almost imperceptibly, tightening his grip of his marked arm. No, that wouldn't happen. This was a different story, with a different ending. Even for him. And yet... If it were a different story, why did some small part of him still believe that he would die, and the Rue would ultimately save Mytho?
