No one should say Shawn wasn't able to talk his way into any establishment. If he hadn't been so confident ins his abilities of persuasion before coming into the City, he would have thought the Porter gave him the very power to make people believe anything he damn well wanted. Using an amazing faux British accent, he talked his way into reserving the otherwise packed club for a whole night and convincing the owner that Lassiter was a high-end fashion designer who taught Coco Chanel everything she knew and started booking shows for Giselle before she could fit into Tom Brady's football tights. With Lassiter would be a hundred or so of his closest friends and high fashion models (fashion snobs were so easy).
He arrived earlier than everyone else as Lassiter's 'personal assistant' and made sure everything was perfect with disco balls, a stocked bar, and the best hits from the 70s to the late 90s. He left before the guests could arrive, so he could pick up Lassie, blindfold him, and promise that they were going somewhere nice and romantic like a shooting range coated in rose scented candles and daisy petals.
Obviously this was not the case when they arrived and the place was jumping.
