WHO: Carnage + Venom WHERE: Times Square WHEN: Saturday night (fever) WARNINGS: Violence, possibly a few people getting killed SUMMARY: ~*FAMILY REUNION*~ FORMAT: Quickpara?
Ever since the comm discussion, Venom had had a sinking feeling about the inevitability of meeting Carnage. He'd kept an eye out, but he knew the other symbiote-human duo would only close with him in his own sweet time.
The sound of metal tearing and people shrieking got his attention pretty quickly, and he landed on a building corner, squinting down at the chaos below. Innocent people, caught in the crossfire, just like usual.
Venom leapt off the building, fired a web and swung a tight arc through the square, grabbing a man and his toddler out of the way of a flying honda civic.
The sight of Venom trying to save lives was enough to crack Carnage up. And the symbiote called that its father? He rushed toward Venom, ensnaring a nearby taxi in his tentacles, dragging it along with him.
"Well well well! That didn't take long!" Carnage barked, still on the ground. "Here, got a present for ya!"
Eddie whipped around, too slow to duck out of the way and unable to cut the car in half--found himself sandwiched between twisted metal and the wall. He grunted, grateful for the symbiote's absorption of high impact, but it still hurt.
"Hope you kept the receipt," He shoved the car away from himself, woozily getting up and pointing an accusing finger at Carnage. "This massacre of innocents must stop."
It sounded good in his head, honestly it did. He knew it wouldn't work, though. Nothing logical ever appealed to Carnage.
After cackling maniacally at the car's impact, Carnage rushed toward the building and scrabbled up it, toward the wreckage, toward his alien daddy. Not close enough to be within strike range, at least on Venom's side.
"Gimme one good reason I should stop," he retorted, spiny tentacles erupting from his back in anticipation. "An' maybe I actually will!"
Venom paused, appearing to waver on this point. Meanwhile, his pseudopods were creeping along the pavement, slipping around a fire hydrant, getting a good firm grip on it.
"Social responsibility! The importance of our actions, and how they impact the lives of ordinary people, and our duty to leave the world a better place than it was before we found it."
He yanked the fire hydrant up and huzzed it in the general direction of Carnage's face. "That's why."

"Lousy imports."

No, Carnage wanted to see just how much Venom could make him hurt, and this was a good gauge.
After the hydrant struck his tendrils immediately flung it away, and he lunged for Venom, claws perfectly ready to rip and tear at him.
"Whatta sap! I'm embarrassed t' know you!"
