[A small panel by the door slides open, revealing a camera and hand scanner - a hidden intercom and security system that Tim is activating from inside the Tower. It helps to prevent external sabotage to keep things concealed except twhen they're being used, and the Titans themselves know how to activate the scanners to get in without necessitating monitoring.

Tim's voice comes over the small speaker, the electronic tone only adding to the emotional blankness he maintains.]

I need to scan you into the security system to make exceptions. Place your hand on the pad.

[Danny obeys without hesitation. It's just like the scanners Tony has. Or ones he had. Or he thought he had. Did he have these types of things for his business? Eh.

He starts whistling a light tune.]

[The scanner does its work, and the door slides open neatly. Once Danny steps inside, the hand scanner will be hidden again. The lobby waiting for him doesn't look particularly threatening - Tim hasn't remodelled, as it would be a wasted effort. There's not much on this level of the Tower besides some couches, a vending machine for drinks, and an elevator.]

[Danny glances at everything, eyes darting from one object to the next. Finally, he settles on the elevator and cautiously makes his way towards it.]

[Hey, he figures the guy can hear him. Seems logical to him.]
