Fakir had put himself into a less than dignified situation. Unable to sleep, he had started reading at the little table he usually did his homework at. Reading usually helped him mellow enough to finally fall asleep, and it had succeeded in doing just that.
If only he'd gotten to the bed first. Unfortunately, he'd laid his head down to rest his eyes before finishing a page, and not brought it back up.
