The sun has just escaped from its day, and Goliath is in Elisa's apartment, preparing her dinner as he has learned to do while she works so many long and hard hours and acutely feeling the absence of his daughter who once helped him with these chores. Her forced leave from duty after her concussion has not been pleasant, frustrated as she is with being barred from work during this time.
He'd hoped to spend some "quality time" with her, as they say, but there has been very little quality to it.
Tonight, he's trying a Waldorf salad, putting a little too much force into each chop of celery - which means it's for the best that he's in his human form.
