It wasn't often Santo found himself actively thinking, and even when he did his time was rarely spent pondering things other than how to best amuse himself at the expense of others. This was one of those more thoughtful moments, simply because there was little else to do while standing by the entrance to the Xavier Institute and waiting for his friend to show up.
The main question on his mind was: What are the odds of anyone inviting two girls with similar names over to do the same activity in the same place in the same month for entirely separate reasons? This was, however, math crap and thus way beyond anything he could wrap his mind around, but it was still amusing to think about. And way better than considering the other thing running through his mind. The reason he wanted her to come over to begin with.
...Because there wasn't one! It was just harmless hanging out. No different from chilling with Rikki or any of his other, non-social failure friends. Absolutely no reason to be nervous.
Which was, of course, bullshit. But as long as he believed it, everything would go fine.
