Edna's security saw she had a visitor before Lyra had a chance to knock. While most she would just open the door and let them open it themselves, she took a special interest in supers under a certain age. She walked quickly over to the door and flung it open for Lyra.

"Dahling!"

[daaaaaaahling]

"Just 'E' dahling, just 'E'," Edna chided lightly, stepping out of the way for her. While she liked respect, she didn't like the moniker. Plus she wasn't a 'Mrs.' anyway.

"Well come on it dahling, make yourself at home," She gestured toward the couches.

[daaaaaaahling]

Edna followed behind her, and jumped up in her seat. She was excited to show off her creations, but she always loved to socialize. "So dahling, how are you?" she asked picking up her tea cup again.

There was a tea set on the table complete with several cups and saucers. There was also a small plate of cookies if either of Edna's guests wanted any.

"Oh?" Edna asked, from behind her cup. "Someone I should be aware of?"

"You're not happy to see your father?" Edna asked, leadingly.

[daaaaaaahling]

"I see," Edna said taking a sip of her tea. "That's sad when a family can't work together."

Edna knew when to drop a subject...some of the time. Fortunately the topic of super suits was enough to get her to switch.

"Of course dahling!" she said getting excited again. "They're downstairs. Is the rest of your team coming as well?"

[daaaaaaahling]

"Well, then lets not waste any time dahling."

Edna jumped off the couch and headed over to the basement door. There were a lot of locks to undo before it would open for them.
