Lorna often spent her days exploring the city. Well, when she wasn't sitting on a roof and watching the porter building. She kind of knew her family wouldn't return to the city by now, but she just didn't want to deal with the reality of that. So, today instead of moping near the porter, she decided to walk around a bit. Near the park, of course, as that's where her routes usually led her.

Dressed all in green, she leaned against the fence of the Frick Collection, just watching various people who walked by. Even after all these months, it was still strange for her to be in the middle of so many humans. She always remembered what Pietro told her, how humans would hate for the littlest of things. Lorna still didn't understand it, and she honestly didn't think she ever would.

She shoved her hands in the pockets of her sweater and just looked blankly at the world in front of her. Sometimes she still recieved odd looks for her hair colour, but she had yet to understand that either. Her hair had always been green, so what was wrong with it? Lorna sighed. She really missed the safety and security of Genosha; no one ever judged her there like they did here. Then there was her other mutation, of which people didn't like either.

Lorna looked to the street, noticing a car was going too fast and about to hit someone on a bike. She pulled her hand from her pocket and raised it, stopping the accident before it could happen. Lorna actually smiled. She didn't like humans too much, but she didn't want them to die either. They should have been happy that she could control metal! However, she knew they wouldn't be. She wouldn't be thanked because they probably didn't even see her.

Slowly she put her hand back to the warmth of her pocket, and kept watching the streets.
