Kyle Reese is not a stupid man. He buys colorful journals to write down his...dreams, for lack of a better word. He knows they're real, he knows they'll come true. The power outage in the grocery store, the 18 stuffed birds, they came true. The things about John and Cameron and Sarah that he couldn't have known, they were true too.

So when he started writing things down about Sarah, drawing things about Sarah. Pictures. Traffic lights and street names. Clocks and Calendars. When he started doing that, he knew something was up. Something was coming. Sarah was coming, and she was going to get herself in trouble.

If she wasn't already in it.

He knew when. He knew where. He hadn't...anticipated the clock being off by a few minutes, so it's not entirely his fault he's a little late. Is it? Out of breath from running.

So pardon his partially breathless but entirely calm "Sarah. Don't."

Any other voice would have her whipping the gun around and adding to Sarah's hostage count. But it's just Kyle again, and she blocks it out, closing her eyes briefly.

She gave her next order to the woman, "Get in and start the engine."

She turned to look at Kyle, he should know better, she doesn't have a choice. If she doesn't do something about her leg soon... It doesn't register to Sarah that he's out of breath, or that his clothes are different, or that the woman in the driver's seat is looking right at him as well. He was a memory.

She turned away from him, and started to get in the car.

"Don't." At the woman. "Stay in the car. Lock the door." Debating if he actually wants to grab and pull an injured woman with a gun. Debating if he wants to let this other woman get pulled into these Connor shenanigans.

Grab and pull wins.

She thinks it's the blood loss when the woman nods at Kyle, locking the door and cringing in the front seat. After all, he's Sarah's delusion not hers. She thinks its her her own yearning to feel him that makes his hand appear solid on her arm as he pulls her from the car.

But its the pain that causes her to cry out as she steps wrong, her leg buckling underneath her and sending her toward the ground. White-hot pain that for a moment outshines everything else around her... including the squeal of tires as the woman peels away, the door slamming shut from the movement.

She looks up at Kyle from the ground. "I needed that car."

[ She answers pretty quickly. Data tells her that a lot of accidents happen on New Year's Eve and it's not like she had plans other than watching fireworks from her balcony and attempting to take photos of them. ]

Hello, Kyle.

[Relief? Oh yes. He didn't want to have to call John yet.]

Hey. Hi. I need you. And a car. Plastic sheets and a first aid kit.

[ John is celebrating New Year's Eve like a normal person. Cameron doesn't hear Sarah in the background - yet. You'll know when she does, Kyle. ]

How strong a first aid kit? [ His communicator beeps while Cameron tries to get a fix on his location. ] You don't sound injured.
