It was a big tree. Not so much in height as in width, it's branches stretching out and out and already covered in bright multi-colored lights and tinsel. It was probably bigger than one they really needed, but it had given Kory an excuse to go just a bit overboard on buying decorations. She just wasn't sure what sort she should get and what sort everyone liked so she had gone right ahead and bought a little of everything, from traditional round and wood carved figures to ones like the little metal tool box and the Bettie Page figure. She really had meant to do this sooner, but in retrospect, she's glad she waited. Both Tim and Dick were back in time to help with the decorating which... could be nice.
They didn't all do things together so much here as they did back home and she missed that. She shook the slight melancholy off quickly. Regardless of anything else, it was going to be fun decorating. She turned to the boxes she had put the ornaments in (two large plastic tubs because yes, maybe she had gone just a bit overboard), carefully pulling one out.
