After two weeks of waiting, of fruitless planning, of fretting, Fakir had decided that they had waited long enough to learn about the witch that Rue had been taken in by, and that action had to be taken immediately. Even if Mytho hadn't been physically harmed, he was essentially a prisoner.
In a rare bout of competence, Fakir had contacted Duck, Ken, and (reluctantly) Goliath before grabbing the dinged up saber he'd bought for his last half-cocked rescue attempt. Goliath had agreed to meet them at the warehouse, a suggestion that made Fakir more than a little nervous, and he had the dubious honor of skulking out into the encroaching darkness with Ken and Duck flanking him on either side.
