What calls back the past, like the rich pumpkin pie? )
Well, he'd ignore that, anyway. He just sat on the edge of the bed and sighed a little - it had been a busy day.

But the bed... had implications. He wasn't sure if he would've entirely preferred separate beds - that had implications of its own - but there was definitely some weirdness to this. He wondered when he started classifying new as weird.
Anyway, he knew two things for certain. One, he could not ask Raven for a room switch for many, many reasons. Everyone would think it meant they were fighting, and everyone could very well include Tim. And two, even if that sigh was in regards to the bed thing, Kon wasn't sleeping on the floor.
"What's wrong?"

"Ah, it's nothing." He smiled slightly sheepishly at Kon. "I'm just tired out. It's been a busy day." That was at least part of the truth, leaving aside bed issues. They'd been cooking, snowboarding, and socialising all day, and that was really enough to tire anyone out. It was nice to be able to sit quietly and relax now.

He looks over at the touch, smiles. "Yeah. It is." Really nice, actually, and maybe if he whines about the snowboarding, he could get a back rub. Except he'd probably have to hold his aura down for it to work, and that's too much like work. Holiday. Kon nixes that idea.
"We should sneak into the kitchen tonight to make something for the big dinner. Ma's cornbread. Alfred's cookies. Something. Or our best attempt at something."
Reply
"Hmm. I'm not sure I could do Alfred's recipes justice, but Dana did show me how to make chicken soup one time." He smiled a little more softly. "And the cornbread sounds really good. So yeah, let's do that."
Reply
"Chicken soup it is." He doesn't touch the Dana-mention, just matches Tim's gentle smile. Holidays must suck sometimes, and he's not going to point that out. "Hers is. Not sure about mine. Guess we'll find out. Think Raven's got any of the right ingredients or are we sneaking out to find a 24-hour grocery store?"
The plan was getting more complicated.

"I'm sure Raven stocked up on everything before the house invasion. She's probably go enough supplies for five Thanksgivings in her cupboards." Holidays do kind of suck sometimes, but not when he has Bruce or his friends around. And not right now.
"So that's the plan for later. What about right now?"
Reply
"Right now?" Tim's hand is warm, and even in a queen-sized bed, they're laying close enough to give Kon ideas that all involve getting closer. "I dunno. Chill up here until the kitchen's clear?"
For the moment, he's subtly redefining chill to mean 'make out'.

Tim was unaware of the redfinition, but he was still getting that general idea. It was nice to lie next to Kon like this, and relax. He moved in a little closer to Kon, stroking his side with his hand just a little. "Chilling up here sounds good."
