zombie quarterback [Closed to Hiruma, Bakura, Maria, Melee, Kogenta] ~7 PM hellcommander October 31 2009, 22:30:56 UTC
Hiruma was no more. That soul had already shuffled off the mortal coil, to ever be seen again? Who knew. But Hiruma couldn't inhabit a dead walking body.

Which is what was left when the body awoke from it's coma, bloody and pale. The body instinctively grabbed a gun that had been left by the previous owner and started walking towards it's old residence, a sort of lopsided gaping smile across the mouth.

Scrape, scrape. Scrape scrape. Scccrraaaaappppeeee. Shuffle. Groan.

Attack.

Infect.

Destroy.

That's all it knew.

Melee wasn't armed-- but she didn't need to be. She was channeling her frustrations and worries into her fists. Any zombie that met Melee on her way to Hell Towers was crushed into the ground. By the time she arrived, her fatigues and shirt were a mess. It was probably a frightening sight: muscular, dark-skinned female with a fierce look on her face.

The intensity of Melee's expression only let up slightly when she spotted a familiar face outside Hell Towers. The kid with white hair, along with some others she didn't recognize.

"Oi!"

She briskly scrubbed a bit of blood off her cheek with the back of her hand.

"Bakura, right?"

[Kogenta can be skipped for now, just assume his actions I guess~] coldempress October 31 2009, 22:51:40 UTC
Himuro tensed up for a second when Melee approached their little group, almost as if she'd been expecting an attack, but she relaxed when she started speaking, just giving her a slight nod instead of a verbal greeting.

Melee's hands found her hips. Her body language was tense, and a little impatient.

"That's right. I'm Melee," she answered. "So, are we going inside or what?"

"No point in going inside." Himuro muttered, still peering down the street, wired and tense from all this waiting. "I locked the doors anyway."

"Well, it ain't any use to just stand around here," Melee responded. "Pick a direction. We'll start moving."

"This way." Himuro decided, heading in the direction she'd already decided on before Melee got there.

"Fine by me." Melee followed after Himuro. She glanced at Bakura briefly. "So, you're that healer, right? You can help him?"

Himuro didn't say anything, focused on the street, starting when she sees that something's coming towards them, squinting at it.

"Shit, something's there." She muttered to get their attention, her grip tightening on her improvised weapon. She could see yellow hair..or at least, imagined she could.

Her imagination wasn't playing tricks on her. It was, in fact, Hiruma. Or what used to be Hiruma. It was clear the body was completely zombified, with plae, dead skin, dragging the leg that had been bitten and was rotting at an incredible rate. The mouth and sharp teeth were smeared with blood and bits of flesh and the eyes were pure white and pupiless.

The shambling undead that was using Hiruma's body had somehow managed to acquire a small horde of its own; a group of about 10 stumbling, moaning, bloody blue shirted cops in a loose group behind it. The ak-47 the zombie was carrying scraped against the cement as it walked. Slowly, but faster than the horde following it.

Seeing the possible food in front of it, the zombie brought the gun up and aimed vaguely at the group, letting loose a few bullets. It definitely wasn't the sharp shot that Hiruma was, luckily for them.

Melee felt her pulse quicken. There was only four of them-- and one was vital. The healer. He had to be protected. That left at least three zombies each for the rest of them. Fine.

"Get down!"

That gun was going to be trouble.

No time to waste though. Melee waved her hand at Himuro. "Chica, think you can handle Hiruma? If you can take him down, Bakura can heal him. I'll back you up." She could handle those zombie cops, no problem.
