WHO: Palpatine and Slade
WHERE: A creepy, dark, abandoned warehouse. Duh.
WHEN: Today.
WARNINGS: Dark Side of the Force, Demonic powers, and maybe a little violence.
SUMMARY: Palpatine wants to determine whether Slade's apparent Force presence is actually the Force.

Palpatine waited patiently in the abandoned warehouse that Slade had mentioned to him. He had to admit that it was the perfect location for a test such as this - most of whatever had been stored there in the past was gone, leaving only the empty floor, the support beams, and a few wooden crates in one corner. The ceiling was high, so that if their destruction raged upwards, it had plenty of room to go before it damaged anything.
He stood in the middle of the floor, his back to the door, looking around, leaning on his cane. Despite the fact that he was there alone, he had nothing to worry about. He highly doubted that either Skywalker, Jade, or Kenobi would be foolish enough to attack him alone, and even together, he had enough confidence that he could destroy them. And he could sense Slade's presence approaching, his presence visible in the Force as if it were a small pool of darkness.
